Postcards - Aje Muses In London

In celebration of Aje’s Harrods pop-up boutique - personal shopper, stylist and Aje muse Bettina Looney hosted a private styling experience followed by a sophisticated brunch at hot-spot, Daphne’s Conservatory in Kensington, with a London-based contingency of stylish attendees.

As photographed by Moeez Ali, go behind-the-scenes alongside friends of the fashion house in the discovery of Sequence, through the lens of London.

Fashion editor of Monocle Natalie Theodosi, Marie Claire UK’s Penny Goldstone, Kelly Eastwood and Chloe Street alongside actor Clara Rugaard and tastemakers Noëlla Coursaris Musunka, Julia Haghjoo, Natasha Ndlovu, Katherine Ormerod, Mariko Kuo, Betty Bachz, UK-based Australian Nadia Phillips and New Zealander Jessie Bush, and singer Ciinderella Balthazar were among the guests dressed in Aje’s latest collections.

At the Harrods pop-up boutique, co-founders Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris’ curated edit of Summer 22 Sequence was showcased in the contemporary and textual first-ever physical London retail experience, aesthetically in alignment with the raw beauty and strong femininity of Aje’s distinct stores across Australia and New Zealand.

After the closed-door styling immersion, guests were welcomed to a private dining room at Daphne’s Conservatory, adorned with signature Aje artisanal touches. Sculptural Dinosaur Designs chalk resin vases decorated the table in synergy with the brands Australian identity, alongside minimal white and pink cascading arrangements of orchids and anthuriums by celebrity florist, Rachael Barker and a bespoke brunch menu.

A sunny morning, the atmosphere was bright with guests enjoying conversation alongside a playlist featuring artists including Rhye, Jorja Smith and Bonobo. An Aje experience to remember.
