A COLLABORATION WITH VICKI LEE & TED O' DONNELL
A defining element of Aje Summer 27 is its collaboration with acclaimed Australian artist Vicki Lee and composer Ted O'Donnell, extending the world of 'Unfurled' across art, fashion and sound.
Lee's visual language becomes embedded within the collection, with Australian flora transformed into atmospheric imagery across fabric and surface. The collaboration explores the space between art and fashion, allowing botanical forms to shift between recognisable natural references and something more surreal.
INSIDE THE ATELIER
Co-founders Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris unveil a study of nature and expression. This season, discover fragments of inspiration distilled into form, and glimpse behind the seams as the collection prepares for Paris Fashion Week.
BEHIND THE SCENES
At the heart of Summer 27 is a fascination with the Australian landscape in its most elemental form. ‘Unfurled’ explores the raw beauty found in native flora – its irregularity, resilience and sculptural quality.
In the lead-up to the runway, final moments unfold. Amid fittings, sketches, and adjustments, silhouettes take shape. Each detail is refined in anticipation of the premiere, capturing the tension between instinct and artistry at the heart of Aje.

Behind the scenes at Paris Fashion Week, in partnership with Wella & ghd
For Summer 27 'Unfurled', hair director Renya Xydis translates the collection's sculptural femininity into an undone, tactile hair direction.
Developed backstage with Wella Professionals and ghd, the look is defined by natural movement, soft irregularity and a finish that feels instinctive rather than overly styled.
The foundation of every look begins with Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue, used throughout the styling process to strengthen, protect and prepare the hair. Wella Professionals ElMI Perfect Setting is then applied before styling, creating the grip and subtle texture required for the collection's lived-in finish.
